While checking out GenCon in Indianapolis, we decided to see if the spirits would like to play at the Historic Hannah House. For this show we brought along someone who we were fortunate enough to meet at Geekway to the West back home earlier in the year. He demos games for Smirk & Dagger so he brought along their new game This Game is Killer: Frozen Horror. Equally as cool, he brought his friend, Ross Allison, who happens to be a professional paranormal researcher. Over the years he has been on several of the big shows and, more amazingly, has also directed a documentary that gathered empirical evidence on physical touch of people by the unknown. I have since watched the documentary and am thoroughly intrigued by the data they presented and very much looking forward to a follow-up soon. Our very first attempt at a show! We called on two of our good friends who spanned the realms of horror and board games to join us back at the St. Louis Haunted Mansion after catching something quite interesting at the end of our first visit there. The building certainly did not disappoint this time either!

In early December '25, we went back to play more games at St. Louis Haunted Mansion at the invitation of psychic medium and author Monica Z. Throughout 2025, Monica researched, experienced, and corroborated the history and activities at St. Louis Haunted Mansion and collected everything into an e-book, The Chariton: Best Kept Secret, that is available on Amazon. She had also brought in her good friend and spiritualist Matan from California for the evening. As a bonus, we were more than happy to have Nicole Graeler, owner of the St. Louis Haunted Mansion, join in our game. Not wanting to keep all the fun to the living, we invited "Constance" to join in our game. My brother and I are not ones to give much credit to Spirit Talker apps or devices but even we have to say that some responses were very well timed this night...
